Legendary Dance Show

Founder

Mustafa Erdoğan, who took steps in 1999 to realize a long-held dream, launched domestic performances of *Sultans of the Dance* in May 2001. Although the show was originally intended for international audiences, its schedule in Turkey was extended due to overwhelming demand. Embarking on a world tour in 2002, the troupe performed across the globe—from New Zealand to the USA, Siberia to Bahrain, and Oman to South Korea—visiting numerous countries (many repeatedly) such as Germany, Australia, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, the Caribbean, the Azores, Mexico, Russia, Chile, Canada, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, Pakistan, Tunisia, Morocco, and China. Through more than 8,500 performances, the production has reached an audience of 50 million art lovers.

In January 2010, *Sultans of the Dance* launched *Kıvılcım*, Turkey’s first children’s dance troupe. The organization also operates dance academies—including four in Istanbul and others in Ankara, Izmir, Antalya, Izmit, Gaziantep, Manisa, and Kayseri—where dance training is provided.
